Self-inspections of your security program are required at intervals consistent with risk management principles (NISPOM 1-206b). The industry standard is that these self-inspections are conducted at least annually. We can conduct an independent evaluation of your security program and identify areas that you may be overlooking. We will compile a list of any deficiencies in your program and develop a plan to correct them. We will also provide recommendations for any areas of potential improvement to ensure your program meets and exceeds Defense Security Service (DSS) requirements.
So, your company has been sponsored for a facility clearance. Now what? We can guide you through the process of completing the required facility clearance documents for submission to DSS. We can also help you with the initial establishment of your security program from organization to creation of the required security forms and briefings.
Are you a new Facility Security Officer (FSO) and don’t know where to start? We can advise you on the training courses required by DSS and recommend others based on your contractual requirements. We can also assist you with any questions that you may have on setting up your new security program and provide on-the-job training.
Do you have a requirement for a DSS certified automated information system (AIS)? We have experienced and DSS certified Information Systems Security Managers (ISSM) that can assist you with setting up the system and completing the accreditation documentation. If you don’t want to deal with setting up the system yourself, we also offer full service ISSM support – from procuring the system to completion of all documentation.
DSS conducts Vulnerability Assessments of your company’s security program on a periodic basis. We can assist you with completing the required documentation and data calls for your assessment, conduct a pre-assessment review and develop recommendations on areas where you can improve your program.
